Dogs for Rehoming
Updated 3/12/2025
At Ainmhithe we endeavour to match the dogs we re-home to the family situation as this is to everyone’s benefit, especially the dogs. Making the decision to give a dog a home should not be taken lightly, and requires a great deal of consideration. If you have made that decision give us a ring or email us and give us more of an idea about you and the kind of dog you are seeking. You can come to view a dog at the Sanctuary by appointment or we can call to you. Home-checks are required for all dogs re-homed. Prior to re homing all our rescued animal are health checked, vaccinated by a veterinarian and if old enough they are neutered/spayed.
If you are interested in adopting one of our dogs complete our pre-adoption questionnaire by clicking the button below and return it by email to ainmhithe@gmail.com
** Please note you must be 21 years old or over to adopt a pet from Ainmhithe

duchess
3 year old Duchess is a retired racing greyhound. She gets on well with other dogs but cannot be rehomed with small dogs, cats, or other small animals due to her breed’s high prey drive. She will do best in a breed experienced home to give her the fun filled retirement she deserves.
